A day in your life as an Enterprise Servicing Supervisor

Under the direction of the Manager this position provides management support for the Enterprise Servicing unit and supervisory guidance to the staff.  Ensures all servicing functions are performed within the department’s guidelines, plans, assigns and monitors workflow.  Maintains a working knowledge of all operations within the department to optimize performance of unit.   If applicable or appropriate, assists in business unit’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act.

  • Leads, directs and oversees the staff and processes of the unit.  Understands workflow for all processes.  Ensures work is completed as scheduled, deadlines and customer service level commitments are met.  Ensures processes are in compliance with all applicable operational procedures.  Coaches and trains employees to work productively, follow procedures, and work professionally and accurately. Trains and coaches the staff. 
  • Reviews, monitors and evaluates work for accuracy and performance level. Monitors quality of work.  Provides staff with resources and tools to be successful.  Assists the Manager by keeping the staff informed of changes, product and system requirements. 
  • Works closely with the Manager to optimize department productivity and effectiveness. Reviews and implements changes to improve efficiency of departmental operations to meet departmental goals. Exercises signing authority as required within the unit.  Identifies problems, analyzes situations and exercises authority.  Manages settlement of all routine/non-routine internal/external requests.  Understands and stays abreast of regulatory changes.
  • Effectively communicates verbally and in writing with peers, branch and department personnel and with customers.  Receives, researches, resolves and responds to requests from branches, departments, financial institutions and Bank customers. 
  • Responsible for the management of all employees in the team including staffing and scheduling, compensation, performance management, training and development.   Goal is to attract, retain and motivate the team to achieve management business objectives and maintain a favorable employee relations climate.    Responsible for the timely and effective processing of Human Resource forms/documents relevant to the immediate staff.  Assists the Manager in establishing goals for the unit.  
  • Assists with performing preliminary and final functional/performance testing for new or upgraded systems/applications.  Assists with implementing changes or new functions. 
  • Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.

 


Qualifications

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of branch operations and other related banking experience, in progressively more responsible positions or equivalent work experience. 
  • Must have 2 – 3 years lead or supervisory experience in operations or high volume department.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Demonstrated proficiency and expertise with personal computers and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and Power Point) or similar software. 
  • Knowledge of or ability to use Bank software and systems. 

 

Other Job Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills. 
  • Should be analytical, detail oriented, organized. 
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities. 
  • Demonstrated effective and efficient team player with excellent interpersonal skills, who can also resolve problems independently. 
  • Should be able to analyze complex situations quickly and recommend solutions and alternatives.  
  • Must exhibit a positive mental attitude. 
  • Should be flexible, able to work on multiple projects that may require restructuring due to shifting demands, unforeseen events and changing priorities.
  • Able to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends and evenings as needed or assigned.
