A day in your life as an IP Operator:
Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor, this position performs operational activities of the unit to ensure that services are delivered reliably, professionally, and meet the quality service expectations of our customers in accordance with performance goals and in support of the department’s business objectives. If applicable or appropriate, assists in business unit’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act.  

We’ll give you these important responsibilities…
  • Operates the image capture device. Works with outsource vendor to address rescan alerts in a timely manner. Preps items processing work received from Vault Services, Tower, Kapolei & CPF prior to capturing items. Monitors the vendor dash board status for each run captured to be sure that all items have been captured and processed (CAR/LAR, amount entry, reject entry, image exchange, & dup detect).   
  • Performs operational tasks, such as preparing branch clearings for Canadian checks and forwards to designated department, prepares all captured items for the 45 day retention destruction and send to Records Distribution department.  , .
  • Calls vendor for servicing issues with image capture device.
  • Communicates and works with others as needed, vendor rep and manager, to respond to requests for information. 
  • Maintains and monitors the image capture device to ensure quality and efficiency standards are maintained. Completes preventive maintenance on equipment-cleaning device pockets, vacuuming, changing belts as needed.


Qualifications

Education:  
  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  
Experience:  
  • Minimum two years of banking operations experience in related positions of progressive responsibility or equivalent work experience. 

Technical Skills: 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or similar software.
  • Knowledge of or ability to use Bank software and systems. 
  • Must be able to operate and maintain equipment.

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, as well as active listening skills. 
  • Must be analytical, detail oriented, organized.  
  • Should have good mechanical ability and problem solving skills.  
  • Must possess good interpersonal and customer service skills and be a team player who works well with others.  
  • Able to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends and evenings as needed or assigned.  
  • Shift work is required. 
  • Must be able to push/lift 60 lbs.
