A day in your life as a Loan Solutions Coordinator
Under the direction of the manager, this position is responsible for coordinating the booking/processing and servicing transactions of loans, ensuring completion and timeliness within specified timeframes. This includes but is not limited to ensuring data integrity, enhancing workflow processes and reviewing system upgrade opportunities to optimize employee work efficiencies. Responsibilities also involve pulling reports from various data sources and taking the lead role in related projects as directed by management.  Assists in business unit’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act.

  • Maintains productivity and quality of service standards, as established by management, with respect to the processing and servicing of loans. Ensures the integrity and consistency of data in the loan file and on the processing system is accurate. Provides weekly metric reports including data from Business Objects, Access Database, SharePoint or similar database systems, to measure productivity and quality performance results.
  • Develops and maintains effective pipeline management tools, including reports from various data sources, to meet servicing and processing turn times and transaction deadlines.  Leverages functional business knowledge and works with management and business partners to identify and maximize workflow efficiencies.  
  • Generates ad hoc reports using Business Objects, Access Database, SharePoint or similar database system, as required. Takes an active role in team meetings, on projects related to the department and Bank initiatives.
  • Assists management in meeting compliance and regulatory requirements for loans, including compliance monitoring, operational risk assessment and vendor management requirements.  Maintains loan servicing and processing policies and procedures, and updates as needed.
  • Provides direct customer service support on escalated issues requiring additional research of higher level support.  Responds to customer inquiries and concerns verbally, in writing and performing follow - ups as required.
  • Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.  Business or related major preferred.



  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in bank or financial services loan operations or equivalent work experience.
  • Requires prior customer service experience. 
  • Prior experience as a team leader on projects and/or process improvement teams preferred.
  • Also requires a good understanding of compliance laws and regulations and Bank policies and procedures, relating to loans, loan processing and servicing.


Technical Skills:

  • Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers in a networked environment and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and SharePoint) or similar software. 
  • Knowledge of or ability to use Bank software and systems.
  • Requires intermediate/advanced level ability with relational databases.

  • Must possess business acumen.
  • Able to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends and evenings as needed or assigned.
