A day in your life as a People Service Center Clerk
Under the supervision of the People Service Center Manager, the People Service Center Clerk is responsible for the recordkeeping of employee records as well as providing clerical support and other related duties. If applicable or appropriate, assists in business units compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act.

Well give you these important responsibilities 

  • Maintains People Services file room and personnel files. Alphabetizes, sorts, and files all incoming documentation and personnel records. Removes obsolete or duplicated material as necessary.
  • Processes requests for retrieval ensuring files are checked out and released only to authorized personnel.
  • Scans and verifies quality of image, indexes and commits documents to imaging system. Performs preventative maintenance on all imaging equipment.
  • Delivers and retrieves division mail from the centralized FPP-Tower mail room. Opens and distributes department mail.
  • Operates microfiche reader/printer to retrieve microfilmed records.
  • Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.

This position requires use of a personal computer and other standard office equipment (fax, copier, calculator, telephone)


 if you come to us with these qualifications 

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Experience: 1 2 years of clerical work experience.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft applications (Internet Explorer, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or similar software. Knowledge of or ability to use Bank software, systems and equipment.
  • Other Job Qualifications: Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Must be analytical, detail oriented, organized. Must be able to meet deadlines and handle multiple changing priorities.
  • Able to work filing, preparing documents or scanning, etc. for hours per day, maintaining quality of work. Must be able to work in a confined office environment which may be dusty, handling hundreds of pieces of paper and other records a day, requiring staple removal, correct placement on scanner, etc. Must be able to push cart, lift up to 25 pounds, use a step stool for pulling and retrieving boxes from filing cabinets and shelving units, bend and stretch. Also requires the use of scanning equipment, microfiche reader, etc.
