A day in your life as a Performance Analyst, Marketing:
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Performance Analytics leader to drive measurement and insights to track the performance of marketing specific activities against expectations. The ideal candidate has a passion for data and marketing, thrives in a fast-paced, team environment, and is committed to helping drive measurable results in our marketing programs. You will lead analytics for all marketing channels (paid, owned, and earned), and partner with cross functional teams to identify trends in the data and opportunities to optimize campaigns and e-commerce initiatives. The main focus for this role is generating business critical insights in support of a broad range of marketing channels and initiatives, with a heavy focus on digital platforms. You will also collaborate with the marketing team to design experiments (A/B and multivariate tests), evaluate results, and make go-forward decisions based on the results.  If applicable or appropriate, assists in business units compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act.

Well give you these important responsibilities
  • Partner directly with the Senior Vice President, Digital Marketing and E-Commerce, to bring data-informed strategic decisions to the marketing organization 
  • Oversee the delivery of insights, analytic support, reporting, and forecasting, as well as the technology and data, needed to drive growth in marketing channels.
  • Define a long-term analytical strategy and work with internal and external stakeholders to drive the implementation of that strategy to enable marketing capabilities including modeling, dashboard design, and business analysis to support business growth
  • Create and deliver reporting, critical for tracking and managing the business, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational metric reports
  • Develop dashboards to communicate the data in a clear and digestible way so that the team can easily assess trends
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting and forecasting on marketing channel performance and key market drivers for multiple channels including all marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social, e-mail, direct, etc.)
  • Provide insights to help the team understand the why behind marketing and business trends, and have a seat at the table to make go-forward decisions based on this data
  • Be an indispensable partner working side-by-side with key business partners, leaders and stakeholders to develop action plans based on insights and results and influence them to take action on findings 
  • Assist the marketing team in creating the optimal setup and plan for running experiments
  • Mentor and develop measurement and analytical expertise across all consumers of data

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of professional work experience and education
  • Minimum 6 years of Marketing/Analytic experience or related work experience 
  • Track record of using analysis to drive results and improve performance 
  • Broad functional experience in areas of marketing strategy, marketing analytics (including web analytics), data analytics, and digital test and learn
  • Proficient in analytics reporting tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Audience Manager) and understanding of how basic web technologies work (HTML, Tag Management Systems, Analytics tool systems)
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing concepts, combined with knowledge of data marketing tools and analysis techniques 
  • Experience with building and improving data analytics capabilities including use of technologies such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, etc. highly desirable
  • Ability to develop concise, engaging, and actionable management presentations and supporting dashboards / spreadsheets 
  • Strong customer focus and understanding of business goals and requirements 
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize in order to meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment  
  • Unwavering attention to detail
